Terms of Service

The short version: GoSunlite is free for solar owners. We pass your request to one independent service provider. That provider, not GoSunlite, does the work, sets the price and is responsible for it. GoSunlite is not a law firm and doesn't give legal, tax or financial advice.

1. Who we are

gosunlite.app is run by GoSunlite LLC ("GoSunlite", "we"). By using the site or sending a request you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2. What GoSunlite does

GoSunlite is a matching service. You tell us what your solar system needs, and we make your request available to independent service providers ("pros") who say they offer that service in your area. The first pro to accept the request receives your contact details and may contact you about it. We don't perform services, don't employ the pros, and aren't a party to any agreement between you and a pro.

3. Pros are independent

Pros are independent businesses. They tell us about their licenses and insurance when they apply, and they agree to our Partner Terms, but we don't guarantee their work, their prices, their licensing or their insurance. Before work begins, ask the pro for proof of license and insurance, get the price and scope in writing, and check reviews. Any warranty on the work comes from the pro or the manufacturer, not from GoSunlite.

4. Your request

Give accurate information and only send requests for property you own or are authorized to arrange work on.
By sending a request you agree that GoSunlite and the one pro matched to it may contact you about it by phone and email, and by text if you checked the text box. See our SMS Terms.
We may decline, close or reassign a request at our discretion, for example if no pro serves your area, if the request looks fraudulent, or if a pro returns it.
Sending a request doesn't obligate you to hire anyone.

5. Legal, tax and financial requests

Some services involve contracts, disputes, financing, liens, warranties or insurance. GoSunlite is not a law firm, lender, insurer or tax adviser and doesn't give legal, tax or financial advice. We don't recommend one professional over another. When you ask for this kind of help, we pass your request to an independent professional or company that accepts such requests. Any advice comes from them, under their own terms. No attorney-client relationship is formed with GoSunlite.

6. Payment

GoSunlite is free for solar owners. Pros pay GoSunlite a fee for requests they accept. You pay the pro directly for any work you agree to.

7. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the site: no false or abusive requests, no scraping or automated access, no attempts to get around security, and no using the site to contact or market to other users.

8. Disclaimers

The site and the matching service are provided "as is". We don't promise that a pro will accept every request, that a pro will contact you within any time, or that any work will meet your expectations. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, GoSunlite isn't liable for any work, advice, product, price, delay, damage or injury arising from services provided by a pro, or for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim related to the site is limited to $100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

10. Disputes and governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, where GoSunlite LLC is organized, without regard to conflict of law rules. Before filing any claim, contact us at hello@gosunlite.app so we can try to resolve it. Disputes with a pro are between you and the pro.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The current version is always posted here with its date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
