The short version: we collect what you give us so one independent pro can help you. Only that one pro gets your contact details. We don't sell your information. This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. No mobile information will be sold, rented or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

1. Who this covers

This policy explains how GoSunlite LLC ("GoSunlite", "we") handles personal information collected through gosunlite.app and by email, including from solar owners who send requests and from businesses that apply to be partners.

2. Information we collect

From solar owners

Contact details: name, phone number, email and the service address.
Request details: the service you need, what's going on, timing, and system details such as ownership type, installer, install year and whether you have a battery.
Your contact and text message consent choices, with the exact wording and the time you agreed.

From partners

Business and contact details, license and insurance information, services and service area.
Account activity: jobs claimed, job status updates and notes, credit and payment records, and device push alert subscriptions.

Collected automatically

Basic technical information such as IP address and browser type, used for security, rate limiting and preventing fraud.
Partners who sign in get a sign-in cookie. Solar owners' devices may store contact details locally so a second request is quicker; that never leaves your device unless you send a request.

3. How we use information

To match your request with a pro and let that pro contact you about it.
To send you confirmations, status updates and the name of the pro handling your request.
To run the partner program: reviewing applications, sending job alerts, keeping credit records.
To keep the site secure, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations.

4. How we share information

With one pro. Before a pro accepts your request, pros who serve your area see the service, your city and ZIP, and system details. Your name, phone, email and street address are shared only with the one pro who accepts it. If that request is later reassigned, we tell you which company has it.
With service providers who help us run the site (hosting, database and email delivery), under obligations to protect it.
For legal reasons, when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

We don't sell or rent personal information, and we don't share phone numbers or text message consent with anyone for their marketing.

5. How long we keep it

We keep request and account records while they're useful for the service, and as long as needed for legal, tax and dispute purposes. Consent records are kept as proof of consent.

6. Security

We use encrypted connections, store sign-in tokens only in hashed form, and limit access to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please contact us if you notice anything wrong.

7. Your choices and rights

Reply STOP to any text to stop texts.
Email hello@gosunlite.app to see, correct or delete your information, or to close a request. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law, and we'll honor them.

8. Children

gosunlite.app is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The current version is always posted here with its date.
